Forms and shadows 

blended by the sun

into a single song

Beach Game

Tide in, now out,

A game floats 

and spins

like time.

 

cold seat

wet sand

barking dogs

 

After the storm

strong south westerlies

blow away the breath ...and beyond.

 A small testimony

two pilgrims

standing on holy ground

 

Even the scent

of a wayward flower

will fade

In this moment’s unfolding

             a slice of time

                             storied only by memory
