now alone 

in the playpark
 

 cold hands

warm tea

keeping our hearts in motion

Old prayers flags

offer messages and threads

to jackdaws

 

shelves holding  

messages

 in their own code

Windless

the prayer flags

meet another dawn

early morning
     an unknown host
        provides a continuing presence

that long sleep's breathing

resurrected

by sun, shadows and birdsong
