Gazing into the dark
                                  of the everlasting light


a man rests
                                                                         

working men

ever watchful

of things now past

the once dull chisel

now sharpened on

the light of the dawn

  A lone figure 

dancing to a dream

dreamt by no-one

In meeting the journey's end
the implicit rebuke 
of the gate

as shadows cry
a testimony 
still proudly stands
