A silent orchestra of trees

             accompany

                          the singing of the bones

Joining a map of sunlight

the stone Buddha

rests

time multiplied in all its forms

brings the sea

to its endless conclusion

Sitting still under a thought

a glimmer of being

alights

Achingly, 

attending to our ends and beginnings

I retire my bench.
